Since our rebranding I thought it a perfect time to say HI and introduce myself for those that don’t know me.

My name is Brenda, I’m originally from NZ but have been living in Sydney Australia for the last 18 years with my hubby (also a kiwi we moved over together) and our 2 beautiful crazy boys (5 and 8). Life is busy but exciting and we love it that way.

I’m an accountant by trade (I know WTF right?) and a Systems Project Developer in my previous life before kids. It wasn’t until I was a few weeks off my due date with #2 I found a love for making jewellery. I’ve always had a creative bug inside and love working with my hands. So I guess you could say I wasn’t nesting at this time, but thought hey I’m about to have another baby in a couple of weeks, perfect time to start a business (what on earth was going through my head at that time I have no idea).

So I started playing around with different types of jewellery, wasn’t happy with the quality available, or how it looked when finished. I was quite embarassed and thought if I didn’t like it, how could I sell it to someone. So to keep a long story short, I began coming up pieces that I would want to work with and LWJ (well back then it was CJW) was born, and I wouldn’t change a thing for the world (maybe the timing given how pregnant I was haha)

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE WHAT I DO and I’ve met some amazing people along the way.
